Yes, I still live in the same town I grew up in. New Rochelle - it's just north of New York City. As a kid (which I was), I used to draw a lot, and I kept doing it. So when college time came, off to art school I went. Parsons School of Design - it's in New York, just south of New Rochelle. After that, I was ready for a career in house painting. (This was originally not the plan.) Gradually, I got more illustration assignments and in time I had my first book published - A Coney Tale. So now, I get to draw as a job. It can be a good job, and it beats house painting.
